Great books to survive by Empty
PostSubject: Great books to survive by   Great books to survive by Icon_minitimeSat Jul 05, 2008 9:58 pm

I inherited a set of FoxFire books from my Grandfather. If you are not familiar with them, they were a bunch of high school newspaper interviews, written back in the 70's, of the old timers that lived in/near the Appalachian Mountains. The articles were about the old ways of doing things (read: without electricity), aka SURVIVING! In short, they are EXCELLENT and will be going in my Bug-Out Vehicle trunk.

I will try to get in touch with the publisher and get these books on my website at ArmedBearArmory.com

also, I really like the Ranger Handbook, and the Soldiers Manual of Common Tasks. I hear the Soldier Manual has been updated and is called Warriors Manual of Common Tasks or something like that...
